SV Werder Bremen: Klaus Filbry & Anne-Kathrin Laufmann's contracts extended on a "long-term" basis

The contracts of Klaus Filbry, chairman of the executive board (responsible for finance, partnerships, branding, communications and fans) at SV Werder Bremen (Bundesliga), and Anne-Kathrin Laufmann, a member of the same board (responsible for club development, fan relations and sustainability), have been extended on a "long-term" basis, announced the German club on 16/08/2024.

Klaus Filbry has been commercial director of SV Werder Bremen GmbH & Co KG aA (the club's commercial structure) since 2010 and has chaired the executive board since 2012, while Anne-Kathrin Laufmann has been in post since 01/01/2023 (she also in charge of the club's table tennis, handball and chess teams).

"Talks on an extension will also begin soon with Tarek Brauer (in charge of organisation and human resources since 01/09/2022), while the newest member of the four-person team, Clemens Fritz (sporting director since summer 2024), has already been given a long-term contract," according to Werder Bremen.
