Ligue 1: a record 49,000 season ticket holders for Olympique de Marseille in 2024-25 (+8.9%)

Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 McDonald's) has set an "all-time record" of 49,000 season ticket holders for its home games at the Orange Vélodrome (66,226 capacity) during the 2024-25 season, announced the club on 21/08/2024.

This figure includes season tickets in the virage (curved stands, 25,500) as well as in the side stands (23,500, including hospitality). This is a third consecutive record for the club after the 2022-23 (45,000 season ticket holders) and 2023-24 (48,000) seasons. This is 10,000 more season ticket holders than in 2021-22 (39,000), an increase of 25.6% in three seasons.

Olympique de Marseille set a target of 49,000 season ticket holders, or 74% of the commercial capacity of the Orange Vélodrome, in order to "offer occasional supporters the opportunity to visit the stadium," according to the club. Over the course of the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons, 31 of the 36 Ligue 1 matches played at home were sold out, and the stadium welcomed a record 1.593 million spectators in 2023-24.
