2030 World Cup: 12,000 of the 115,000 seats at the future Stade Hassan II in Morocco for hospitality

• 29,500 spectators at each end of the stadium, which will have a total capacity of 115,000,
• 12,000 seats dedicated to hospitality, i.e. 10.4% of the stadium's total capacity,
• "a spectacular roof made from a unique aluminium lattice."

The Franco-Moroccan architectural firm Oualalou + Choi and the English firm Populous have unveiled the details and the first 3D models of the Stade Hassan II project on a 100-hectare site in the town of El Mansouria, in the province of Benslimane, 38km north of Casablanca (Morocco), on 21/08/2024.

The two firms' project, selected following an international competition, is expected to host matches in the 2030 World Cup, for which Morocco, Portugal and Spain are the only remaining joint candidates. The stadium, which is "projected to be the largest in world football", would have Wydad Athletic Club and Raja Club Athletic, Casablanca's two professional clubs, as its resident clubs.
