Manchester United FC: Konami (video games, JPN) extends as a global partner from 2024-25

Konami, the Japanese video games publisher, has extended as a global partner (2^nd level) of Manchester United FC (Premier League) from the 2024-25 season, announced the club on 20/08/2024. The group has been partnered with the club since 2019-20 (five seasons).

As part of this extended agreement, the Japanese publisher will retain its "commercial rights, including player access, media opportunities, and the use of official club branding, imagery, and recreation in the eFootball series," explained the club. To celebrate the renewal of the partnership, Konami will also be giving away two tickets to each of the club's home games in the Premier League and Carabao Cup during the 2024-25 season.

"We are excited about the opportunities our involvement with the eFootball series brings. Our long-standing partnership has enabled the club to engage meaningfully with new and younger audiences as well as showcase the Manchester United brand in the digital entertainment world, an important sector for us as we look to the future," said Florence Lafaye, commercial director at Manchester United FC.
