Governance: Tottenham Hotspur "England's best-run football club" according to Fair Game Index 2024

Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League) is "England's best-run football club" according to the Fair Game Index 2024, which published its annual ranking of British professional clubs on 21/08/2024. The four criteria used are financial sustainability (40%), good governance (30%), equality and ethical standards (20%) and fan and community engagement (10%).

With 68.2 points out of 100, Tottenham are ahead of Manchester United FC (Premier League, 65.4 points), Cambridge United FC (Sky Bet League One, 60.3 points), Brentford FC (Premier League, 60.2 points) and Norwich City FC (Sky Bet Championship, 59.4 points). Fulham FC (7^th) and Liverpool FC (10^th) are the other two Premier League clubs in the Top 10. Including Scottish clubs, which also featured in the study, Tottenham lose their place at the top to Celtic FC (William Hill Premiership, 80.6 points).
