• The DFB has announced a total of €74.2m in prize money for the clubs taking part in the 2024-25 DFB-Pokal , including €4.32m for the winners of the competition.
• English music artist Ed Sheeran has acquired a 1.4% minority stake in Ipswich Town FC (promoted to the Premier League), for which he has been the club's main shirt sponsor since 2021.
