2024 Paralympic Games: TVMS partners with the IPC for free-to-air TV rights in sub-Saharan Africa

French media rights agency TV Media Sport has entered into an agreement with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and obtained the free-to-air broadcasting rights for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games in sub-Saharan Africa, announced the two parties on 26/08/2024.

This is the second time TVMS has entered into such an agreement with the IPC in this territory after the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. "TVMS presented an exceptional assessment of its first experience on the African continent in 2021 when covering the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, managing to bring together Free to Air broadcasters from more than 30 countries. TVMS also provided ready-to-broadcast daily highlight programmes focused on African athletes, along with expert commentary in different languages," explained the two entities.
