Bundesliga: average price of a 500ml beer at stadiums: €5.20 - from €3.50 in Kiel to €5.50 in Munich

The average price of a beer (500ml) at Bundesliga stadiums is €5.20 (excluding deposits) at the start of the 2024-25 season, while the price of a bratwurst (sausage) is €3.80, according to the DFL, which has compiled the prices charged by the 18 Bundesliga stadiums for these two products, which are among the most popular among fans.

The most expensive beers are offered by FC Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena and SV Werder Bremen at the Weserstadion, at an identical price of €5.50. The least expensive, at €3.50, is that of promoted club Kieler SV Holstein at the Holstein-Stadion, who also offer the cheapest bratwurst at half the price (€2.50) of FC Bayern's (€5). The beers available in the greatest number of stadiums are Bitburger (four stadiums) and Stuttgarter Hofbräu (two stadiums).

"Ask any German and they will tell you that a stadium experience isn't complete without a Bier und Bratwurst - a beer and a sausage. For many, this is the benchmark for judging a day on the terraces - and remember that you are allowed to drink alcohol in the stands in Germany," said the DFL.
