2024-25 Conference League: Heidenheim-Chelsea & Betis-Copenhagen among the matches in the new format

1. FC Heidenheim 1846 (Bundesliga) - Chelsea FC (Premier League) and Real Betis Balompié - FC Copenhagen (DEN) are among the fixtures in the 2024-25 Conference League, according to the draw carried out for the first time by a software programme (as for the Champions League and Europa League), at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, on 30/08/2024.

As UEFA enters the 2024-2027 cycle, the Conference League (formerly the Europa League) will adopt a new format, with a league phase comprising 36 teams divided into six groups of six (places are determined by the number of UEFA coefficient points accumulated over the last five seasons), who will be ranked in the same table at the end of each matchday, thus putting an end to the group stage that has existed until now.

Each team in the competition will face a team from each pot, with six matches to be played - three at home and three away - against different opponents each time.
