Formula 1: UniCredit (ITA) to replace Banco Santander at Scuderia Ferrari from 2025

Italian bank UniCredit is to become an official partner of Scuderia Ferrari HP from 01/01/2025 as part of a multi-year partnership, announced the Formula 1 team on 02/09/2024.

The group based in Milan (Lombardy), which also has partnerships with the ITF (tennis) and the America's Cup (sailing), will thus succeed Banco Santander, whose three-year partnership (2022-2024) with Scuderia Ferrari will not be extended once it expires on 31/12/2024, according to the Italian team on 30/08/2024. "Santander has been Premium Partner of Scuderia Ferrari in Formula 1 and has been our partner in the Le Mans Hypercar (LMH) programme," explained the team.

Santander, which has been a partner since 2022, a year after the arrival of Spanish driver Carlos Sainz Jr. at Ferrari, was one of Scuderia Ferrari's main partners between 2010 and 2017, a period during which the Spanish bank added a touch of white to the red Italian single-seaters, notably on the front and rear wings. Spanish driver Fernando Alonso drove for the Italian team between 2010 and 2014.
