TSG Hoffenheim: Jörg Albretcht elected chairman until 2027 after Kristian Baumgärtner steps down

Jörg Albretcht has been elected as the new first chairman of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim (Bundesliga) for three years, until 2027, announced the club on 02/09/2024. He received 273 votes in his favour, compared to 123 for his opponent, Marvin Rotermundt.

The former mayor of Sinsheim, where the club's PreZero Arena is located, succeeds Kristian Baumgärtner. Baumgärtner, who was first elected as chairman of the club in 2021, was re-elected in June 2024 before resigning a month later for health reasons.

Simone Engelhardt and Frank Engelhardt will join Jörg Albretcht on the TSG 1899 Hoffenheim board.
