YouTube: Liga BBVA is the most active major European league on Youtube with 3.5 million subscribers

The Liga BBVA is by far the most active league of the 5 major European leagues (Barclays Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A TIM, Liga BBVA and Ligue 1) on YouTube, the video hosting website, with 589,400,000 video views and 3.5 million subscribers, an average of 184,000 fans per club, according to figures released by News Tank on 06/02/2015.

At the other end of the spectrum, the nine clubs in Ligue 1, the French championship, that have an official YouTube account and share videos online, have a combined total of over 300,000 subscribers, the lowest total of the five major European leagues. With 72.4 million views, Ligue 1 is also the least active of the big five.

Liga BBVA: Real Madrid is ahead on the number of subscribers (1.67 million), whilst FC Barcelona has the most visited page (317 million views)
