MLS: Inter Miami CF's Miami Freedom Park to be inaugurated in 2026 (€325m)

Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami (MLS) will open its new 25,000-seat stadium, Miami Freedom Park (Miami, Florida, USA) in 2026, announced the Major League Soccer franchise on 04/09/2024. The delivery of the stadium has therefore been postponed by one year, since the work was originally due to be completed in 2025, which corresponded to the last year of Argentine Lionel Messi's contract with the franchise.

The club's new stadium is part of a larger 53-hectare project, also called Miami Freedom Park, the total cost of which is estimated at $1bn (€927m), supported "100% by the club's owners and which will not require any investment from local authorities."

This project, the first part of which is due to be delivered from the end of 2025, a few months before the start of the 2026 World Cup co-hosted by the United States, includes in particular the stadium ($350m/€325m), a public park (23 hectares), road and parking infrastructure, and several entertainment venues.
