France/Ligue 1: "DAZN is no more expensive than what existed before" (Brice Daumin, DAZN)

DAZN, with an offer at €29.99, even after adding beIN SPORTS France at €15 per month, is no more expensive than what existed before. Everyone talks about the price and says it's more expensive. Daumin was responding to the many criticisms levelled at the OTT platform over its subscription prices, which are the main reason for the rise in piracy (via the application Telegram and IPTV services in particular) of Ligue 1 McDonald's matches over the start of the 2024-25 season. DAZN is offering a subscription at €29.99 per month (one-year commitment, otherwise €39.99 per month) for access to eight exclusive live Ligue 1 matches, the entire Betclic Élite, PFL and Glory Kickboxing events and the entire Women's Champions League.
