Bundesliga: LBBW to take over from Winamax as main shirt sponsor of VfB Stuttgart from 2025

German bank LBBW (Landesbank Baden-Württemberg) will become the main shirt sponsor of VfB Stuttgart (Bundesliga) from 2025-26 for three seasons (2025-2028), the club announced on 06/09/2024. "Both parties have agreed not to disclose the financial details of the partnership," said the club.

The German company will thus take over from French sports betting operator Winamax, whose commitment as main shirt sponsor of VfB Stuttgart initially ran from 2023-2026. In July 2024, the club's CEO Alexander Wehrle announced his intention to cut short this partnership, which had been criticised by many fans as well as the Porsche Group, VfB's shareholder.

The company, which has been the club's exclusive banking partner since the 2024-25 season, is also from 2024-25 the main shirt sponsor of VfB Stuttgart's youth teams as well as its reserve team (3.Liga). As part of the partnership which will begin in 2025-26, "LBBW will also be present on the LED panels and other digital areas of the MHP Arena."
