Chelsea FC: Jason Gannon (COO) also promoted to president, departure of Chris Jurasek (CEO)

Jason Gannon, current chief operating officer (COO) of Chelsea FC (Premier League) since October 2023, has also been promoted to the position of president of the London club, on 05/09/2024.

He succeeds Chris Jurasek, CEO of Chelsea FC since May 2023, who "will transition back to be an operating executive with Clearlake Capital, the co-controlling owners of Chelsea Football Club", said the club. Chris Jurasek has held the position of "operating executive" at the American investment fund since February 2014.

"Jason Gannon, with support from the entire management team, will take responsibility for all the business areas of the club and will report directly to the board. Prior to joining Chelsea, Jason Gannon was the managing director of SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park in Los Angeles (California, USA) as part of the Kroenke Organisation, in which he served in various executive, operational and legal capacities", added Chelsea FC.
