Sevilla FC: NFC technology introduced to ease entry for season ticket holders at the stadium

Sevilla FC (LALIGA EA Sports), in collaboration with LALIGA, have introduced NFC (Near Field Communication) technology for their season ticket holders to make it easier for them to enter the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, according to the club on 06/09/2024.

"By bringing their smartphone close to the ticket control gate at the entrance to the stadium, season ticket holders will be able to enter without having to take out any physical credentials or scan a QR code," added the Spanish club. "This is part of a continuous improvement in the services offered by SFC to spectators and allows them to enter the stadium much more smoothly."

These season tickets in NFC format will be available on IOS devices (via the Wallet application, on iPhone and Apple Watch) and android devices (Google Wallet on smartphone or smartwatch), and will not prevent season ticket holders from having their season ticket in QR code format.

2024-25 Sevilla FC season ticket holders will receive an email from LALIGA "shortly" so that they can download their season ticket onto their device.
