US Open 2024: a record attendance of 1.04 million spectators over 3 weeks (832,640 in the main draw)

1,048,669 spectators attended the 2024 US Open, "a record" (+9.5% on the 957,387 spectators in 2023), announced the USTA, organiser of the Grand Slam tournament, on 08/09/2024. It took place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center (New York, USA) from 19 to 25/08 for the qualifying round week and from 26/08 to 08/09/2024 for the main draw.

The American tournament has exceeded one million visitors for the first time in its history. However, this is only the second time in Grand Slam history that a tournament drew one million spectators, as the 2024 Australian Open welcomed 1.11 million visitors over three weeks, including 1.02 million during the two weeks of the main draw.

A total of 832,640 spectators attended the two weeks of the US Open main draw, an increase of 4.1% compared to the 776,120 in 2023.
