LALIGA EA Sports: squad spending limit for the 20 clubs set at €2.608bn (+2.72%) in 2024-25

The squad spending limit for the 20 LALIGA EA Sports clubs totals €2.608bn for the 2024-25 season, according to LaLiga, which published the limits imposed on each club in the Spanish championship on its website. This cap is 2.72% higher than the last update for 2023-24 (€2.539bn, February 2024).

The highest squad spending limit allowed by LALIGA in 2024-25 is that of Real Madrid CF (€754.894m, +3.7%), ahead of FC Barcelona (€426.427m, +108.8%) and Club Atlético de Madrid (€310.745m, +2.3%). Conversely, Sevilla FC's ceiling fell from €152.286m in February 2024 to €2.499m in September 2024, i.e. 60 times less. The club, which was sanctioned by LALIGA for exceeding its authorised squad spending limit in 2023-24, thus has the lowest of the 42 clubs in Spain's top two divisions.
