Real Madrid: Santiago-Bernabéu named best stadium in the world in 2024 (World Football Summit)

Real Madrid CF's (LALIGA EA Sports) Estadio Santiago-Bernabéu (Madrid, ESP) has been recognised as the best stadium in the world in 2024 at the World Football Summit 2024 awards ceremony on 13/09/2024.

"The award highlights the Santiago Bernabéu's innovative features and its ambitious vision to redefine not only what sports stadiums mean, but also the cultural and economic fabric of Madrid. Real Madrid has been acknowledged for its unique innovation in different aspects of the new Bernabéu, including the next-generation retractable pitch with underground greenhouse, a 360º video scoreboard that runs around the whole inside loop of the stadium and the external digital "skin"."

"The accolade also underlines the stadium's adaptability, and how it has become a cultural and touristic hub for the Spanish capital, in a year that has already seen it host concerts by artists."

Among the other awards (see below), Fernando Carro de Prada (Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Bundesliga) was named best executive, while Juventus FC's Juventus Creator Lab (Serie A Enilive) won the award for best brand initiative.
