LALIGA: launch of the "LALIGA vs bullying" initiative to combat bullying at school

LALIGA, in collaboration with the 42 clubs of LALIGA EA Sports (20 teams) and LALIGA Hypermotion (22), has launched the "LALIGA vs bullying" initiative dedicated to the fight against school bullying, announced the Spanish body on 17/09/2024.

The league is rolling out this initiative via its "LALIGA VS platform, a platform that's committed to eradicating hatred both inside and outside the stadiums, and which focused on racism last season (2023-24). Coinciding with the start of the school year, LALIGA is appealing to football's fundamental values: team spirit, unity, collective strength and sportsmanship, as it urges children not to be passive observers of bullying, but to unite and confront the problem under the concept 'A team doesn't let anyone stand alone'."

The campaign, whose promotional video features a monster appearing on a school football pitch, will be rolled out in a number of ways:
• broadcasting the campaign video on the league's and clubs' social networks on Matchdays 6 (from 20 to 23/09) and 7 (from 24 to 26/09) in both leagues;
