EBU: a weekly programme with free women's football content on Eurovision Sport (OTT)

The European Broadcasting Union has launched a weekly programme entitled "W - Sport's Women's Football Weekly" on its OTT platform Eurovision Sport, which will present free highlights "from prominent women's football leagues across Europe and the USA," announced the EBU on 16/09/2024.

The competitions concerned include the Arkema Première Ligue, the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga, the Barclays Women's Super League, the Serie A Femminile eBay and the NWSL. "By focusing on women's football, Eurovision Sport underscores its commitment to elevating women's sports on a global stage and expanding its audience. The digital streaming complements the work already done by public service broadcasters to help grow the women's game," explained the alliance of public service media organisations present in 56 countries across Europe.
