Manchester City FC (Premier League) posted a turnover (excluding transfers) of €826.2m during the 2022-23 financial year (from 01/07/2022 to 30/06/2023), more than twice that of FC Inter Milan (Serie A Enilive) who posted €386m, as the two clubs prepare to face each other on Matchday 1 of the new Champions League campaign on Wednesday 18/09/2024 (kick-off at 21:00 CET) at the Etihad Stadium (Manchester, ENG).

In the same 2022-23 season, Manchester City's wage bill (€426m) was also over double that of their rivals (€206m). The English champions posted a record net profit of €92.3m, while Inter posted a loss of €85m.

The Italian club starts the 2024-25 Champions League season with a new owner.
