DAZN France: "Our aim is to have one million subscribers by the end of 2024" (Brice Daumin, CEO)

"I'm surprised by the comparison with Mediapro, because it's completely different. DAZN is present in over 200 countries. We have invested over $2bn in our platform. We are a fully digital player and the world's biggest sports streaming broadcaster (present in over 200 territories). Our aim is to have one million subscribers by the end of 2024. That's what we're aiming for," said Brice Daumin, CEO of the OTT platform DAZN for France and Switzerland, on the French public radio station France Info on 19/09/2024.

"Subscription prices for Ligue 1 have only fallen over the last 20 years. We signed our agreement with the LFP on 30/07, and the first Ligue 1 McDonald's match was on 16/08. We set up an incredible system. We recruited over 50 editorial and production staff. We've signed distribution agreements with everyone from telecoms operators to Canal+ and Amazon. This work has been recognised by the clubs and subscribers," explained Daumin.
