AC Milan: TIM (telecoms), former Serie A title sponsor becomes a premium partner from 2024-25

Italian telecommunications operator Telecom Italia (TIM) has become a premium partner of AC Milan (Serie A Enilive) from the 2024-25 season, announced the club on 19/09/2024.

As part of the agreement, the brand will rank second in the Milanese club's sponsorship hierarchy alongside six other brands. TIM will also be visible as a back shirt sponsor of AC Milan's women's (Serie A Femminile eBay) and youth teams. The partnership includes "numerous dedicated activities that will provide the opportunity to experience exclusive moments with both the first teams and AC Milan Primavera (U19 team)."

The telecoms operator is thus re-establishing its presence in the Italian league, after having been title sponsor for 26 seasons (1998-2024). The brand paid €20m per season to the Lega Serie A to give its name to "Serie A TIM" for the 2021-2024 cycle, before being replaced by Enilive, a mobility brand belonging to Italian energy supplier Eni, which acquired the naming rights to the "Serie A Enilive" for the 2024-2027 cycle (€22m per season) via an agreement announced on 05/02/2024.
