LALIGA: agreement with TW Events (agency) to encourage foreign fans to experience matches in Spain

LALIGA has entered into a partnership with the TW Events agency, entrusting it with the marketing of travel and hospitality packages in order to "attract foreign fans" to LALIGA EA Sports and LALIGA Hypermotion stadiums, announced the Spanish professional league on 24/09/2024.

As part of the agreement, the agency will purchase match tickets from clubs in Spain's two professional divisions and offer fans packages that also include "travel, cultural visits, and other activities around the matches to attract foreign customers and promote tourism through football," explained the body, which intends to strengthen its presence in "new international markets, particularly in regions like Asia, the Middle East, and the United States."

This agreement is part of "a project to bring live competition closer to its foreign fans through various agencies" launched by LALIGA during the 2023-24 season.
