Chiliz Group: launch of Chiliz Sports, "to foster business opportunities between sport & technology"

Chiliz Group, a Maltese company specialised in cryptocurrencies and owner of the blockchain-based platform Socios.com, has launched "Chiliz Sports", an independent division of the group that bills itself as a consultancy/marketing agency dedicated to players in the tech and sports sectors, announced the group on 26/09/2024.

"Chiliz Sports will leverage the group's expertise and partner network across sports and tech to foster business opportunities between both sectors. The group's new independent division will help brands from the sports and tech industries identify the most valuable opportunities and the most trustworthy partners, facilitating connections and providing support, advice, and guidance," explained Chiliz Group.

Since its launch in 2018, the Socios.com brand has forged partnerships with more than 70 clubs, leagues and athletes, notably producing club-branded tokens thought "for fan engagement and monetisation."
