France: the 23^rd "Referee Days" from 04 to 27/10/2024

The 23^rd edition of "Journées de l’arbitrage La Poste" (La Poste Referee Days) will be held from 04 to 27/10/2024 "with recruitment and loyalty as the key themes," stated La Poste group on 26/09/2024. It will be sponsored by Christian Karembeu, 1998 world champion and winner of Euro 2000.

"Now a key national event, the Refereeing Days are an annual opportunity to shine the spotlight on elite and amateur referees in basketball, handball, rugby and football. The aim is to ensure the long-term future of sporting competitions and to build the referees of tomorrow," said La Poste.

A number of initiatives are planned for this 2024 event:
• on 08/10: presentation of six trophies recognising the best regional initiatives to recruit and retain young referees, namely the best local initiative of the year in football, rugby, handball and basketball, the best call for projects and the best initiative by a professional club, a first, as well as a Trophy of Honour;
• on 16/10, at the Salésienne football club (Paris 17^th arrondissement), practical workshops with great champions and young members of…
