Serie A Enilive: La chaine L'Équipe interested in broadcasting matches free-to-air in France (press)

The free-to-air DTT channel La chaine L'Équipe has reportedly expressed an interest in broadcasting Serie A matches free-to-air for the 2024-25 season, announced RMC Sport on 26/09/2024.

According to RMC Sport, discussions with Lega Serie A are focusing on the broadcast of one game per matchday. The next meeting of the Italian governing body, which is due to deal with the issue of the Italian league's international TV rights, is scheduled for Monday 30/09/2024 in Milan (Lombardy, Italy).

The 2024-25 Serie A Enilive season not been broadcast in France as of 27/09/2024, although five matchdays have already been played. beIN SPORTS France has held exclusive broadcasting rights for the Italian league until the end of the 2023-24 season since 2012 (most recently extended on 19/08/2021 for the 2021-2024 cycle).
