Olympique Lyonnais: endowment fund & foundation merge to form the "Fondation OL"

"In order to respond to the strategic directions of Eagle Football Group, OL Fondation and the sOLidaire endowment fund are being transformed into a single entity called Fondation OL, which will be provided with a graphic identity and remodelled governance," announced Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 McDonald's) on 25/09/2024.

"Under the presidency of Thierry Frémaux, the directors of the Fondation OL have been appointed: Raymond Domenech, Guillaume Naslin of the Fondaction du Football, Marie-Laure Wiart, director of HR at Eagle Football Group, and Laurent Prud’homme, managing director of Eagle Football Group and representative of Olympique Lyonnais. The board of directors also welcomes two major additions, two of the club's iconic captains: Wendie Renard, who has a unique record with OL Féminin, including eight Women's Champions League titles and 17 French league titles, and Sidney Govou, who has played a part in OL's seven consecutive French league titles," said the club.
