Matchday 5 of the 2024-25 Bundesliga season drew an average of 43,135 spectators per game between Friday 27 and Sunday 29/09/2024. The average stadium fill rate was 96.7%.

Borussia Dortmund - VfL Bochum 1846 (4-2), the opening game of the matchday (kick-off at 20:45 CET), posted the best attendance, with the Signal Iduna Park (81,365 capacity) once again sold out. Three other fixtures had a 100% stadium fill rate.
