Portugal: the Chinese group Huawei becomes Benfica's technology partner until 2017-18

Huawei, the Chinese information technology and communication group, has become the technological partner to SL Benfica (POR, Liga NOS) until 2017-18, in order to develop fan experience and innovations within the Lisbon club announced the two parties, the 02/10/2015. Huawei will develop its "Agile Stadium Solution" programme to enhance the interactive experience of fans and create a more connected stadium with high-density Wi-fi at the Estádio da Luz (60,000 seats).

Benfica will also benefit from Huawei's IDS2000 system for its data center, which offers rapid deployment, energy savings and smart data solutions.

• The Caixa Futebol Campus, Benfica's training camp will benefit from the systems offered by Huawei.
• The Chinese group will provide the club with smartphones, tablets and other technology products.
