NBA: Amica, Robinhood, GetYourGuide... several franchises change jersey sponsor in 2024-25

GetYourGuide, a travel experiences booking platform, has become a global partner and jersey (pocket) sponsor of the Brooklyn Nets from the 2024-25 season, announced the NBA franchise on 27/09/2024.

This is the first partnership signed by the German company with an American sports franchise. GetYourGuide succeeds Webull, a New York-based trading platform, as pocket sponsor of the Nets for the 2021-2024 cycle, which paid $30m (€25.6m) per year. Motorola (smartphones, in 2020-21) and Infor (software packages, 2017-2020) were the Nets' previous jersey sponsors.

GetYourGuide is the sixth foreign brand to appear on the jerseys of an NBA team in 2024-25, the fourth based outside North America and the only European company represented (compared with three Asian brands).

"GetYourGuide will also receive international marketing rights to promote its alliance both in the New York market and outside the U.S. through expansive marketing, advertising, and digital activations," said the franchise owned by BSE Global.
