With a turnover of €807m for the 2022-23 financial year (from 01/07/2022 to 30/06/2023), Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's) posted a result 50% higher than that of Arsenal FC (Premier League, €537.6m), as the two clubs prepare to face each other on Matchday 2 of the new league phase in the 2024-25 Champions League on Tuesday 01/10/2024 (kick-off at 20:00 local time, 21:00 CET) at the Emirates Stadium (London, ENG).

During the 2022-23 season, Paris Saint-Germain's wage bill (€621m) was 2.3 times higher than that of their London rivals (€270m). At the time, the French champions posted a net loss of €109.8m, while Arsenal posted a loss of €60.2m.

The two clubs' brands are valued fairly similarly, with Paris Saint-Germain's estimated at €1.2bn and Arsenal's at €1bn, according to the 2024 rankings drawn up by American company Brand Finance. However, the overall valuation of the Parisian club is much higher than that of its rivals, reaching $4.4bn according to the 2024 ranking published by the American business magazine Forbes, compared with $2.6bn for Arsenal.
