2024 WNBA regular season: a record 54 million unique viewers in the USA

The 2024 WNBA regular season, which ran from 13/05 to 19/09/2024, was watched by 54 million unique viewers on the channels of the American broadcasting groups ESPN, CBS (owned by Paramount Global), ION Television and NBA TV in the United States, an "all-time record," according to the North American league on 27/09/2024.

Among the figures released by the WNBA:
• a record 22 regular season games exceeded an average audience of one million viewers;
• an average of 1.2 million viewers watched the regular season on ESPN, an increase of 170% compared to the 2023 season;
• an average of 1.1 million viewers watched the regular season on CBS (up 86% on 2023), an all-time record;
• an average of 3.4 million viewers watched the 2024 All-Star Game on ABC (up 305% on 2023);
• 2 billion video views were recorded on the WNBA's social networks (378 million in 2023).
