Tom Cartledge, chairman of Nottingham Forest FC (Premier League) since August 2023, has stepped down from his post, announced the club on 01/10/2024. Cartledge will be replaced by his predecessor, Nicholas Randall, who was first appointed chairman of NFFC in 2017.

Tom Cartledge will leave his post "with immediate effect due to a lack of time alongside the demands of managing his family business. Tom was appointed at the start of the 2023-24 season, with a specific focus on supporting the club's desire to redevelop The City Ground (30,000 capacity) and build closer relationships with the city and its fan base," explained Nottingham Forest. However, the man who runs British property group Handley House will remain on the club's board of directors.

Nicholas Randall had remained involved with Nottingham Forest as a member of the board responsible for legal and governance issues.
