Investments: Kylian Mbappé becomes a minority shareholder in German electronics company Loewe

French international Kylian Mbappé (86 caps) is to become a minority shareholder (around 10%) in German electronics company Loewe, announced the two parties on 02/10/2024.

The 25-year-old, who has joined Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) for five seasons from 2024-25, becomes a shareholder in the company via Coalition Capital, the investment arm of his company Interconnected Ventures set up in 2018. This is a new stage in the collaboration between the Frenchman and Loewe, since he became its ambassador in December 2023.

"With Kylian Mbappé's entry as a shareholder, the brand aims to further strengthen its global position, tapping into new markets and expanding its influence among younger, tech-savvy consumers," said the company.

The 2018 world champion also became the owner of SM Caen (Ligue 2 BKT) after buying out the shares of American investment fund Oaktree Capital Management, which previously owned 80% of the club, on 31/07/2024, in a deal valued at around €15m.
