Dijon FCO: Paul Fauvel, the president's advisor, made "youngest CEO in French professional football"

Paul Fauvel has been appointed CEO of Dijon FCO (National 1), announced the French club on 02/10/2024. He was previously advisor to Pierre-Henri Deballon, president of Dijon FCO since the club's takeover in July 2024.

Paul Fauvel succeeds Emmanuel Desplats and, at 28, "becomes the youngest CEO in French professional football. He previously held the position of CEO at Bergerac Périgord FC for four seasons. With the National 2 club, he helped them to two Top 3 finishes in the league and a fine run in the Coupe de France, where they reached the quarter-finals. For the past two seasons, he has held the position of marketing director at Red Star FC - a club promoted to Ligue 2 BKT (in 2024-25) - with revenue development as a priority mission," explained Dijon FCO.

Paul Fauvel will have "expanded missions between the administrative and sporting divisions. As he did at Bergerac, he wants to develop a project based around the region and the cohesion and performance of an entire club."
