LFP: a new bureau, a cost-cutting plan underway & a reform of the statutes to come

The board of directors of the Ligue de Football Professionnel has appointed a new bureau comprising Vincent Labrune (president of the LFP), David Terrier (vice president of the UNFP) and club presidents Jean-Pierre Caillot (Stade de Reims) and Pablo Longoria (Olympique de Marseille), Pierre-Olivier Murat (Rodez Aveyron Football, Ligue 2 BKT), Laurent Nicollin (Montpellier Hérault Sport Club, also president of Foot Unis) and Marc Keller (RC Strasbourg Alsace), announced the LFP on 03/10/2024, the day after the first meeting of its new board of directors following the elections on 10/09/2024.

Other announcements include:
• an "ambitious" cost-cutting plan for the LFP and LFP Media, including a 30% reduction in Vincent Labrune's salary and that of Arnaud Rouger (CEO of the LFP);
