Stade Rennais FC: Olivier Cloarec step downs, Arnaud Pouille appointed new executive president

Arnaud Pouille, former chief executive of RC Lens (Ligue 1 McDonald's), has been appointed executive president of Stade Rennais FC (Ligue 1) to replace Olivier Cloarec, who is "leaving the club," announced SRFC on 04/10/2024.

"A graduate of ESSEC and INSEAD (French business schools), Arnaud Pouille has nearly 25 years' experience in the management and development of top-flight clubs and sporting institutions. He has served as chief executive of Stade Français Paris (2000-2007), Ligue Nationale de Rugby (2010-2017) and RC Lens (2017-2024). By combining his expertise in the management of a professional football club with his mastery of the technical and human challenges of top-level sport, Arnaud Pouille will be tasked with breathing new life into the success of Stade Rennais in the short, medium and long term," explained the Breton club.
