Netflix: 5 sponsors, including Meta Quest (VR) & DraftKings (betting), for the J.Paul-M.Tyson fight

Celsius (energy drinks), DraftKings Sportsbook (betting), Experian (CRM), Meta Quest (VR) and Spaten (beer) will be Netflix's five sponsors for the broadcast of the boxing match between Americans Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, according to Magno Herran, vice president of global marketing partnerships for the streaming platform, on 07/10/2024.

The fight, to be held at AT&T Stadium (Arlington, Texas, USA) on Friday 15/11/2024, will be broadcast exclusively on Netflix. Originally scheduled for 20/07/2024, the fight between the two athletes was eventually postponed after Mike Tyson withdrew for medical reasons. The five brands will see their logos displayed in the ring and will benefit from visibility on social media and during the live broadcast.

This will be the third sporting event to be broadcast live and exclusively by the platform, following the Netflix Cup (golf) on 14/11/2023 and the Netflix Slam (tennis) on 03/03/2024.
