• The UK Labour government will present a new bill to the British Parliament in November aimed at establishing an independent regulatory authority for football in Great Britain, according to The Guardian.
• US investment fund Gamco Investors is to make a bid to Fininvest for AC Monza (Serie A Enilive), according to its Italian-American director Mario Gabelli who was quoted by the Italian media outlet Il Sole 24 Ore.
• Following Riyadh Air's acquisition of the naming rights to the Stadio Metropolitano, the Spanish property group Civitas, which until then had been the stadium's title sponsor, is continuing its commitment to Club Atlético de Madrid (LALIGA EA Sports) as an official partner for "at least five seasons" (2024-2029), according to the club.
• Riyadh Season and DAZN have signed a "multi-year partnership" making the OTT sports platform the exclusive broadcaster, globally, and co-exclusive broadcaster for the MENA region of "all of its sports and entertainment events" organised as part of the Saudi festival.
