Ligue 2 BKT: Alain Orsoni's sale of AC Ajaccio to the club's vice president set for 31/12/2024

Alain Orsoni, former president of AC Ajaccio (Ligue 2 BKT), which he still owns via the holding company Ajaccio Imperial Corse Investissement, is to sell his shares in the club to Jean-Noël Fattaccioli, ACA's vice president in charge of finance, announced Orsoni on France 3 Corse on 13/10/2024.

"I feel it was time to hand over the reins. A purchase agreement has been signed, which will take effect on 31/12/2024. My concern is to ensure the club's long-term future through buyers who will continue the adventure," said Alain Orsoni, who headed the club from 2008 to 2015 and from June 2022 to July 2023, before resigning on 12/07/2023.

"Jeannot Fattaccioli, who is responsible for the club's finances and much more than that, has undertaken to take over the club with some of his friends. In fact, since taking over, he has helped to save AC Ajaccio by initially providing €4.7m guaranteed on the ground. Then, three months ago (in July 2024), he contributed another €3m when the club went before the DNCG," added Alain Orsoni.
