France: "No payment issues related to Euro 2024 media rights" with beIN SPORTS, according to UEFA

"beIN has been a long-standing partner of UEFA in multiple territories globally for over two decades with an exceptional track record of broadcasting excellence and there are no payment issues related to the Euro 2024 media rights in France," said Guy-Laurent Epstein, marketing director at UEFA on 14/10/2024.

beIN SPORTS France has not yet paid the European body for the TV rights to Euro 2024, which are estimated to be worth €27m, according to the French sports daily L'Équipe on 14/10/2024. beIN acquired the full TV rights to the 2024 and 2028 editions of the competition for France on 07/06/2024.

"beIN and UEFA are currently negotiating several long-term media rights contracts. UEFA is currently examining a number of outstanding issues. Until the contracts are signed, no payments are due. UEFA does not demand any payment under any circumstances.
