FC Barcelona: Spotify to display Coldplay logo on shirts for the match versus Real Madrid

For El Clásico between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF (Matchday 11 of the 2024-25 LALIGA EA Sports, Saturday 26/10/2024), Spotify is activating its partnership with the Catalan club, of which it is the main shirt sponsor, and will display the logo of the British band Coldplay on the front of the players' kits, announced Barça on 17/10/2024.

The new shirts will also be worn by the club's women's team when they take on SD Eibar (Matchday 8 of the Liga F, Saturday 02/11/2024). Two limited editions of the shirt will be available for purchase: a batch of 1,899 match shirts, and a batch of 22 shirts signed by the club's players. Proceeds from the sale of the shirts will be donated to the UN Refugee Agency and the club's Foundation. Barça and Coldplay are also marketing a lifestyle collection that includes "t-shirts, hoodies and a scarf," said the club.

• Spotify has been the main shirt sponsor of FC Barcelona's men's and women's first teams since the 2022-23 season, for an estimated €60m per season over the 2022-2026 cycle, and aims to "help the club reach new audiences through music".
