Investment: Eyeball (scouting platform) raises €5m in funding

Eyeball, a scouting platform based in Prague (CZE), is raising €5m in funding, it announced on 17/10/2024.

The round of funding was led by Nordic and Baltic venture capital firm Vendep Capital, with participation from Sportlogiq (AI-based sports analytics), Heartland (holding company of Danish family Holch Povlsen) and Founderment (tech investment fund). "This investment comes just nine months after the company's pre-seed round, highlighting its rapid growth and increasing traction within the global football industry," said the company.

"The fresh capital will fuel Eyeball expansion into key US and Latin American markets, as well as further enhance its technology capabilities across the platform. Eyeball, which operates in 27 countries, is already being utilised by over 100 leading football clubs worldwide. This includes the majority of Premier League and Ligue 1 clubs, as well as over 50% of both the German Bundesliga and Italy's Serie A Enilive."
