Parc des Princes: LFP disciplinary committee called upon after homophobic chants

The Ligue de Football Professionnel's disciplinary committee will be called upon after homophobic chants were heard during the match between Paris Saint-Germain and RC Strasbourg Alsace (4-2), on Matchday 8 of the 2024-25 Ligue 1 McDonald's season, played at the Parc des Princes (Paris, FRA) on Saturday 19/10, announced the LFP on 20/10/2024.

"The Ligue condemns the homophobic chants heard during the match. These new discriminatory chants by Paris SG supporters are unacceptable at a time when professional football as a whole has been working for several seasons to ban homophobic behaviour and chants from stadiums. In three seasons, 93 anti-discrimination workshops have been organised at 33 clubs," added the LFP.
