FC Barcelona: 2023-24 annual accounts & 2024-25 provisional budget approved by delegate members

FC Barcelona's (LALIGA EA Sports) delegate members approved the accounts for the 2023-24 financial year (from 01/07/2023 to 30/06/2024) by 452 votes (71.4%) in favour, 156 against and 25 abstentions, and the projected budget for 2024-25 by 409 votes (79.9%) in favour, 75 against and 28 abstentions, according to the Catalan club during its ordinary general assembly on 19/10/2024.

The following were approved:
• operating income of €893m, including record sponsorship revenue of over €210m and sales of almost €110m for Barça Licensing & Merchandising (BLM);
• a net loss of €91m but a positive ordinary profit of €12m;
• operating expenses of €873m and a sharply reduced wage bill, from €670m in 2022-23 to €500m in 2023-24;
• a projected budget for 2024-25 with new record sponsorship revenue of €250m and sales of €125m for BLM, as well as a stable wage bill of €500m;
• an ordinary result of €5m in 2024-25.
