Spain: Royal Spanish Football Federation's (RFEF) presidential elections set for Monday 16/12/2024

• Elections to the Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol (RFEF) general assembly on Monday 25/11/2024.
• Elections to the presidency and the delegates committee (see below) on Monday 16/12/2024.

This is the RFEF's electoral calendar for the four-year period 2024-2028, as validated by the executive committee of the High Sports Council (CSD, Consejo Superior de Deportes) on 21/10/2024.

The board of directors of the Spanish Football Federation, chaired by vice president María Ángeles García Chaves, had set these dates on 18/10/2024, one month after the Sports Administrative Tribunal (TAD, Tribunal Administrativo del Deporte) annulled (on 20/09/2024) the call for elections that had been scheduled for 07/10/2024.

• The RFEF delegates committee has 12 members:
  • one third of the presidents of the federations of the autonomous communities (which correspond to the regional leagues in France)
  • one third club representatives (two representatives of professional clubs, two representatives of amateur…
