Golf: DP World (logistics, UAE), worldwide partner of the Ryder Cup for the 2025 & 2027 editions

DP World, a port operator and subsidiary of Dubai World, a company owned by the government of the United Arab Emirates, has renewed as a "worldwide partner" of the Ryder Cup for its next two editions, in Bethpage Black (United States) in 2025 and in Limerick (Ireland) in 2027, announced the organisers of the biannual international tournament pitting the best American and European golfers against each other, on 23/10/2024.

The Emirati company joined as a first-level partner of the competition for the 2023 edition (held in Rome, Italy, from 29/09 to 01/10/2023). This first agreement "highlighted the value of DP World's global network of advanced logistics capabilities, as the organisation helped coordinate and expedite the flow of facilities needed to ensure the smooth running of the event. Among other initiatives, DP World delivered key electrical and solar power supplies, 90 mobility scooters to support attendees with limited mobility, and nearly two-dozen containers containing more than 10,000 goods used throughout the tournament," explained the Ryder Cup.
